VLT/FORS2¶

At present, the FORS2 pipeline uses:

• astroquery for various data retrieval purposes.

• ESO Reflex for initial reduction (biasing, flatfielding).

• astrometry.net (installed locally) and astroalign for astrometric calibration.

• montage and ccdproc for coadding/stacking frames.

• psfex for PSF modelling.

• source-extractor and sep for source extraction and photometry.

• astropy and numpy for a wide assortment of underlying tasks.
